Mid Century Teak Sideboard By John Herbert For A. Younger Ltd.

This is an original, teak sideboard designed by John Herbert in the 1960's and produced by A Younger Ltd of Glasgow.
The main body of the piece has been painted in dark grey to complement the teak front. This is a contemporary take on a slice of MCM.
It comes with ample storage space with two large double cupboards, one with full width shelf and the other for full height storage. There are four large central drawers, the top one with the original blue vinyl lined cutlery divider.
The doors and drawers, have solid teak pull handles
A beautiful piece of mid century Scandinavian influenced design, built to last and now restored to its former glory but with a contemporary twist.
This craftsman produced item would not look out of place in any modern, vintage or traditional design scheme.
