Mid Century Danish Teak Desk By Gunnar Tibergaard

A stunning original mid century Danish teak desk designed by 
Gunnar Nielsen Tibergaard for Ikast Mobelfabrik. Stamped underneath.
This rare example has been completely refurbished and reinstated to its 
former glory.
It features an drop leaf extension which lifts and slides into place 
increasing the work space by 50cm.
There are two drawers, one with a working lock and key. 
Each drawer has a beautiful inset sculptured pull handle.
The whole desk stands on four round tapering legs.
This piece is a truly exceptional example of mid century Danish design 
and heritage and will only gain value over time.
For an item of this age, it shows very few marks and wear.
